Does P90X3 Work? Let's Find Out.
After plenty of hype and anticipation, P90X3 is finally here. Does Tony Horton's latest workout program live up to its expectations? Or does it fail to "BRING IT?"
P90X3 includes 18 intense workouts spanning across 8 DVDs. Let's start with the one major change to the program - each workout is now just 30 minutes long.
Some of the hardcore P90X'ers will scoff at this. But the majority of users will quickly appreciate the shortened length of the workouts. You can say goodbye to 90 minute Yoga X sessions and 60 minute routines followed by 15 minutes of Ab Ripper.
However, that's not to say the P90X3 workouts are easier. Far from it. You'll still be pushing yourself to the brink no matter your fitness level. To make up for the shorter time the intensity level has definitely been increased.
Does P90X3 Work?
Absolutely! At the time of this review I'm about month in and it's definitely kicking my butt. As a P90X graduate I can say that P90X3 is NOT easier just because the workouts are 30 minutes long. I firmly believe that the difficulty has actually been ramped up in order to offset the shorter workout times. I'm going to be making another post once I've completely finished the program.
P90X3 is still a very new program, but plenty of others have given their initial impressions as well.
Here's a look at a handful of reviews from P90X3 users over @ Amazon.
"They really did their homework on this new workout series, and all the best parts of the first two incarnations are at play here. It doesn't feel at all like a re-hash, but yet has the familiar feel that fans of the first series will appreciate. The workouts are shorter and tighter, but still have a feeling of completeness to them."
"I'm a P90X grad who loved the overall challenge and especially the resistance workouts of P90X, but couldn't quite get into the style of P90X2. After a week of workouts with P90X3, I am loving it."
"I've done P90X for about 2 1/2 years and loved it, got great results. I'm in my 3rd week of P90X3 and couldn't be happier with the program so far seems to be targeting everything, not one specific muscle group at a time and lots of core in every workout."

Where Can You Buy P90X3?
You can buy P90X3 either directly from Beach Body, or over at Amazon.com.
